The Prelude

From Wenzhou to Shenyang, Taipei to Syracuse to NYC, I lived in different cities, met a lot of interesting people, seen many stories, and had a fair share of my own. There is not just one way a story can be told, in words, sound/music, drawings, motion pictures... each and every combination of them fascinates me!

When I was a little kid, I had a cassette tape player by my bed. Each night I'd listen to stories before entering the dreamland. There were traditional mythologies and tales from all over the world. I wondered about the characters in those stories, the places they lived, and the time they were in. I wondered if one day I could be a person who tells fascinating stories like those.

Maybe that's how it all began.
